Family art activity area
We invite you to celebrate art. Just grab a piece of paper. Some feathers and glue. Maybe some shiny happy sparkly glitter (or maybe not). Put it together and see what you come up with.

Puppet theatre: new to the art fair in 2009
Puppeteer Jim Ouray has been making puppets and performing for over two decades. Awarded numerous grants to work and perform in schools across the state, Jim’s workshops focus on teaching about the environment and land issues thorough the art of puppetry. He has worked with the Heart of the Beast Theater in Minneapolis and more recently in Grand Marais on the Summer Soltice Pageant in collaboration with local Minnesota artist Betsey Bowen. Look for Jim on stage for three original performances on Saturday, June 27 at the Park Point Art Fair.

Stories by Elizabeth Nordell
Elizabeth, who believes that story is the heart of humanness, returns to the Park Point Art Fair to weave her enchanting stories from around the world, on Saturday, June 27. She teaches storytelling to all ages in a variety of settings and has organized such storytelling events as Tellabration, Courageous Stories and Tender Tales, and The Food and Farming Tent.

Featured musician: Michael Monroe
From vinyl to digital, Michael Monroe is now in his fourth decade of performing nationally in concert, festival, corporate and educational settings. His unique creation of music leaves his audiences mesmerized as he blends his rich vocals, guitar, bamboo and glass flutes, combining musical styles of acoustic folk, and jazzy reggae. Michael's original music and compelling energy bring a powerful style that is as much fun as it is innovative: music and technology working together powered by creativity.
